A gift for a Graduate

This is the bag that I'm working on right now. Hopefully will be done on wednesday. This will be my friend's graduation gift to her cousin:

this is the body of the bag in light blue in 21"

this is the gusset: 9" x 3"

this is now one side of the gusset attached to the body.

I've crocheted two strands of yarn in light and navy blue for the gusset. I'll be using navy blue for the handles.
